| Job Description |
This is an 18 month contract position for a Senior SCM Build, Release Engineer. Please email resumes to riffat@starinteract.com
The successful candidate:
• Must be a team player who understands the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication
• Must have experience in setting up AntHill Pro tool and configuring build-farms. It is critical that the candidate must know AntHill Pro internals.
• Must have automated builds using AntHill Pro or similar software build frameworks. Must have a strong knowledge of ClearCase.
• It is good to have ClearCase UCM deployment experience for large application groups and provided support in Windows & UNIX environments
• Be able to effectively work with CM architect, development engineers, QA engineers, and production support engineers.
• Should be able to follow and enhance current process and promote processes and best practice within the team
• Be able to articulate and document ideas
• Must be able to analyze complicated business requirements and propose solutions through process and tools
• Must have excellent understanding and hands-on experience with SCM tools, development practices, and software development lifecycle.
• Have a true passion for excellence in their work, is detailed-oriented, thorough, and follows through on commitments.

| Qualifications |
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics required
7+ years experience in software development
5+ years experience in Configuration Management, and Build Release engineering.
Strong hands-on expertise in ClearCase and CM tools. Should be a good problem solver and enjoy working in a support service environment.
Required Skills:
3+ years experience in AntHill Pro or similar build systems
3+ years experience in ClearCase
3+ years experience in ClearCase UCM and RUP methodology is good to have
5+ years experience with makefiles, ANT, and other make systems.
5+ years experience with scripting languages such as Perl, csh, ksh, etc.
Experience in using technologies such as C, C++, JAVA, XML, JAVA IDEs, JSP, HTMP, J2EE, etc.
Excellent working knowledge in OS such as Windows, Solaris, and Linux.
Knowledge in tools such as VSS, CVS, Perforce, etc. is a plus.
Knowledge of supporting ClearQuest, Sun N1 SPS is a plus
Willingness to mentor, have strong analytical, technical documentation, and communication skills.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
