| Job Description |
This position leads a team of analysts responsible for configuration and data management and document control activities relative to the identification, and accounting for systems and/or equipment in accordance with contractual requirements. The supervisor has accountability for all aspects of group operation and direction in support of the division’s goals and customer expectations. The supervisor has responsibility for developing and administering budgets, schedules, staffing, and performance standards for the group. Specific duties include:
Motivating, engaging and developing talent, building personal credibility and delivering results.
Establish and administer procedures for the introduction of changes to engineering documents. Review and analyze engineering change data and coordinate implementation with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and other stakeholders. Ensure that customer requirements are implemented correctly and review change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies. Serve as technical authority for issues related to configuration and data management. Provide briefings to senior management including regular status reports and periodic reviews of major issues and programs. Support Export/Import Control Officers in managing transmittal of data to and from foreign customers. Provide resources and estimates to support preparation of new business proposals. Provide resources, technical guidance, and budget accountability to support contracted and IR&D activities. Support and/or lead Change Control Board for all proposed engineering changes. Provide mentoring / training to subordinate staff as part of regular employee development. Set staff performance expectations and provide regular feedback via informal and scheduled reviews. Provide coaching, conflict resolution, and corrective action as necessary to resolve issues related to performance. Provide staffing forecasts and participate in all hiring activity. Provide input to and lead the improvement of internal company procedures and processes. Demonstrate highest level of ethical conduct throughout all aspects of job performance.

| Qualifications |
Demonstrated competency in Business, Self & People Leadership
HS Diploma, Required. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred. Candidate shall have a minimum of 8 years aerospace and defense industry experience. Candidate must have been in a supervisory position for at least the last 2 years. Working knowledge of CMII Configuration Management methodology. P Thorough understanding of ANSI/EIA-649-A. Experience in the administration of an automated Product Data Management system. Experience in configuration and data management. Experience with USG contracts and export/import control processes required. Experience with software configuration control is preferred. |
