| Job Description |
This is an exciting opportunity for a configuration management expert with Aerospace/Military product design experience to join our product development team.
We are engaged in supplying critical sensor systems to various government agencies including NASA, the military and the department of Homeland Security.
Duties require knowledge of engineering documentation and Configuration Management/Data Management requirements, standards, and practices required on government programs. This includes the knowledge and experience to check drawings, parts lists, formats, and design and manufacturing notes, as well as organizational skills required to track release and changes to documents, submissions of internal and customer required summaries of document status and other required data tracking summaries and submissions. This position also requires the leadership with both internal and external configuration management audits. In addition, the task of contract data management CDRLs and SDRLs will be a job responsibility. You will also lead and work with the CM/Data Management staff to accomplish the requirements of this position. |

| Qualifications |
AS/AA (BS/BA desired) or equivalent trade school.
4 Years or more of CM/Data management experience is required.
Previous Design/drafting experience with knowledge and experience with drawing conventions & standards like (Y14.5) dimensioning & tolerancing, materials & processes would be a definite plus.
The ability to qualify for and receive a US government security clearance is required. |
