As part of the configuration management group, you will prepare Configuration Management plans to cover programs both in the development/certification phase and sustaining phase. You will complete audits to ensure, compliance to the Type Design, and ensure data integrity of the configuration definition is maintained. You will produce the necessary configuration documents, databases and analysis throughout the life cycle of a product to establish, manage and maintain configuration control.
You will participate in procedure development. You will also be responsible for providing explanation for discrepancies found with respect to configuration control and recommend corrective actions.
You have working knowledge of ISO 10007 Quality Management guideline for Configuration Management.
You will participate in the creation, maintenance, standardisation and documentation of configuration definition in terms of product structure and associated data and to support /guide Configuration Engineers in their day to day activities.

| Qualifications |
You have a college degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a Configuration Management function. Experience with PCs and good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Access, is required. You are experienced with SAP systems. Knowledge of the Bombardier Drawing System is an asset. You are flexible, adaptable and have initiative, rigor and self-discipline. You have logical reasoning and you are able to work in a team environment. You show professionalism, possess leadership and have good negotiation skills and initiative. Knowledge of Partnership environment is an asset as well as engineering release procedures experience. Finally you are bilingual and possess good communication skills, both written and verbal. |
